Hanner has previously appeared in Night of Madness.

Hanner, formerly Lord Hanner, is a member of one of the oldest and most powerful noble families in Ethshar of the Spices. On the Night of Madness he, like thousands of others, became a warlock. To defend his family, his friends, and his city he took charge of arranging the terms on which warlocks would co-exist with the rest of the World, gave up his title, and became the first Chairman of the Council of Warlocks.
