Chapters Three through Eight are now paid for and will be posted weekly.

How far is it from the village to the city?
I don’t know; several days’ walk, I’m pretty sure. Which doesn’t mean I always remembered that when writing the story; it’s first draft. That’s the sort of thing I may not worry about until the second draft.

I’m pretty sure there should be a “to” between “there” and “pay” — she’s talking about how she can afford to buy a tea shop.
I’m enjoying the book so far! I like Kel. Sent my donation before I began reading.

Ben, let’s just say it’s a good thing they hadn’t yet spent the money.
Kurt, thanks. Still haven’t had a chance to look at that and fix it; I spent the weekend in a state of sleep-deprived, baseball-accentuated exhaustion.
