Chapter Eight has been posted. Got the last few dollars needed this afternoon.
Chapter Nine is almost written — another page should do it.
Things have been very busy, so the serial hasn’t gotten the attention it should; I apologize for that.

How about a status update? Clearly this serial won’t be one of the ones that keeps to the weekly schedule, but where do things stand? Are we WAY off the target still?
Soon. I got back from Arizona at about 1:00 a.m., so I have much catching up to do first.
The money for Chapter Nine still has a very long way to go, and I’m only a couple of pages into writing Chapter Ten.
It looks like this may take a while.

Chapter Ten’s about half-written, but the money’s been very slow lately.
It seems that Nightside City and Realms of Light aren’t nearly as popular as the Ethshar books. Which is a real pity. The stories (like any of Lawrence’s work) are really interesting and engaging. Unless the slow contributions are a sign of the economic times…
Lawrence, is there any chance you’ll be emailing chapter 9 to the previous contributors?
I did e-mail Chapter Nine to donors, including you; you didn’t get it?
