Chapter Twenty-One is up.

Chapter Twenty-Two is written (though I just realized I need to revise one bit), and I have about five bucks toward it. Chapter Twenty-Three is started.

So there we go.

Well, it had to happen eventually.

I’m almost $80 short of the $250 for Chapter Twenty-One.  $79.65, to be exact.  So no new chapter tonight.

Of course, there are still twenty-three hours left in the day.

Chapter Twenty is up.

Chapter Twenty-One is completely written and about one-fifth paid for. Chapter Twenty-Two isn’t.

A warning: Due to having spent far too much time moderating comments from spammers who post nothing but “Nice site!” or “Cool site!” and a link back to their deliberately-misspelled (to make it harder to block) website, I am seriously considering blacklisting the word “site” entirely. If I do, and you try to post some harmless comment using that word, it will disappear unseen into the bit bucket. My apologies for the inconvenience; if you substitute “page” or “cite” or some such approximation, you should get through.

Chapter Nineteen is up.

I have just $15 toward Chapter Twenty, which isn’t written yet. Been busy with other stuff.

The protagonist’s name is now Emmis, rather than Vengar; “Vengar” just wasn’t working for me.

I’ve started talking to printers about that limited first edition; it looks financially viable, though a bit more costly than I’d hoped.

I’ve sent out all the copies of The Spriggan Mirror that I had on my list; if you think you should have received a copy and it hasn’t shown up, let me know.

Chapter Thirteen is up.

Chapter Fourteen is paid for, and will be posted on Wednesday, December 13; there’s a small start on Chapter Fifteen.

I’m midway through writing Chapter Sixteen.

There’s a long discussion of technicalities of magic in the comments on the post “Chapter Five Revised,” for those of you who hadn’t already noticed it.

Chapter Twelve has been posted.

Chapter Thirteen is about one-third paid for.

Chapter Fourteen is written; Chapter Fifteen is this close, but I keep thinking of little bits I want to squeeze in.

There was some good discussion in the comments two posts back. If you missed it, check out under “Chapter Five revised,” though absolutely none of it had anything to do with the revisions to Chapter Five.

I’ve just uploaded minor revisions to Chapter Five to correct a continuity error.

This does not affect the plot at all; I just had to fix a couple of lines of dialogue that contradicted established background details about Ethshar of the Spices.

Chapter Nine is up.

Chapter Ten is written and about 40% paid for.

Chapter Eleven is written, and Chapter Twelve is almost done.
